Ever wondered how you might stay positive, focused and optimistic in spite of the situation you find yourself in?  Well, Andre Geel, a Chartered and Consultant Clinical Psychologist has some ideas that might be helpful.  Over the last 12 years he has been working with Carers – in Brent, Harrow, Kensington & Chelsea, Islington, Shropshire and beyond – and has come up with a simple, yet elegant system of staying focused on the positive while being challenged by very difficult situations.

Using a combination of Positive Psychology, Solution Focused Therapy, Transactional Analysis and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) techniques he is able to help carers utilise their full potential and access their inner resources in their caring role.

You will learn 7 psychological skills to help manage challenging situations. They will help you cope better and turn things around to be more positive, constructive and rewarding. You will learn some powerful skills of Positive Psychology and solution focused thinking to transform situations into better outcomes

This workshop will give you a more advanced and in-depth approach to learning new psychological techniques and developing better coping skills and how to be more optimistic and constructive in the face of difficult circumstances.

The groups and workshops are fun, practical and teach a new way of thinking about old problems. They are engaging and supportive and mentally very stimulating. You will leave with a series of practical skills and techniques to carry forward from the workshop to help you cope with the challenges that you face outside.
