Family Weekend at Withersdane Campus
The PROMIS Family workshop is an intensive, two day program designed to provide education, support and therapy to adults and adolescents aged 14 and older. The team at PROMIS believe that those who have been affected by alcohol and drug-addicted individuals experience their own struggles and pain.
The 2 Day Family Workshop is offered to help you to understand the ways in which you have been affected and how you can recover even if your loved one chooses not to.
If the family is to survive and grow, it is critical that the individual members begin their own recovery process.

Programme Details
The Workshop is designed to assist members of a family with establishing a supportive and healthy recovery environment by encouraging them to be authentic, communicate productively, utilise boundaries, and function in a healthy fashion. During this workshop, family members learn how co-dependent behaviours, trauma, mood disorders, and/or addictions can impact a family system. Family members develop tools to successfully enhance recovery and a relational family system.
The primary goal of the Family Workshop is to help members bridge the gaps that have plagued the family system.
Lunch and refreshments will be served throughout the event.
Parking is available on site.
Accommodation can be provided upon request at the Withersdane Campus. Places are limited, please book early.
