Cost: £60.00 per person.
Overall aim
TO PROVIDE A SPACE FOR THOSE WHO KNOW THE COLLABORATIVE CARING MODEL TO:
- Practice communication.
- To bring difficult scenarios from home and discuss and plan alternative strategies on how to manage them.
- To facilitate the development of an ongoing self-care plan for carers.
Please be prepared to be self-reflective and think about how you respond to the Eating Disorder behaviour and whether you consider that there is any chance that you may be willing to change your behaviour.
All those attending this workshop must have read and bring with them Professor Janet Treasure’s book which is called:
“Skills-based Learning for Caring for a Loved One with an Eating Disorder” by Treasure, Smith and Crane Published Routledge 2007 ISBN 978-0-415-43158-3.
